RSmiley AdCom is lead by Robert Smiley. Bob began his computer career in 1984 with Digital Equipment Corporation. At a time when DEC was second in size only to IBM and hard disks ran in drives the size of washing machines, growth and development in the computer industry was explosive. Over the next three years, Bob worked his way up to a technical marketing specialist position. He supported customers such as Goddard Space Flight Center and Lawrence Livermore Labs, as well as, representatives in the field in their efforts to meet the needs of these high profile clients.

In 1987, Bob left Digital Equipment Corporation and began working for a series of resellers where he marketed and sold distributive computing, local and wide area networking and cross-platform connectivity solutions.

In 1996, Bob opened the doors of CompuTrend Integrators. A business to business reseller, CompuTrend was dedicated to the service and support of the products that they provided as part of the solutions they offered. Among others, CompuTrend enjoyed Apple and Hewlett Packard authorization and membership as Apple Computer Solution Experts.
